About the Guide
Kim O’Hern (she/her)
I find my work to be immensely rewarding. I love what I do, and feel like it’s an honor to spend my days here at Chestnut Grove. In the spring of 2013, I was recognized by the Oregon Montessori Association with the Susie Huston Memorial Award for Excellence and Inspiration in Teaching. Outside of school hours, I enjoy beautifying and creating new materials for our classroom. I also enjoy cooking, knitting, gardening, reading, exercising, and spending time indoors and out with my husband Jim and our two children, Phineas and Rosemary.
